The name of Teatro Gastroteque literally means “Theatre” where our culinary team performs their passion and love of gastronomy, and to be presented to you in such immaculate and impeccable way by our butlers.

Mandif M. Warokka – Executive Chef

An award winning talented Executive Chef, born in Biak, Papua, Indonesia who is highly passionate about Food Gastronomy that He learnt from several famous restaurants around the world. Some of his personal achievement was voted as “The Best Chef in Bali 2011” awarded by Hello Bali Magazine, followed by several prestigious gold and silver medals in culinary competition through out Middle East and Indonesia as listed below.

Chef Mandif was also regularly invited as “Guest Chef” for several finest restaurant like “Eisvogel” a Michelin Star restaurant at Bierkenhof Hotel, Germany, “La Salle” Restaurant, at Schols Elmau Resort, Germany and “The Grand Final Indonesia Master Chef (session one)”.

Prior to managing Teatro Gastroteque, Mandif has gained an extensive culinary experiences at major hotels around the world such as Jumana Fine Dining at Banyan Tree Hotel, Ungasan, Bali, Europe (Netherland) at Golden Tulip Amersfoort, U.A.E (Dubai) at Desert Palm (Per Aquum) and Nad Al Sheba Golf and Horse Racing Club and Abu Dhabi at Al Raha Beach Hotel.

Based on these achievements, Chef Mandif is currently acknowledged as one of the Best Chef in Indonesia and now on his own journey developing Teatro Gastroteque to be future Indonesia Michelin Star Restaurant.
