Dining Among the Rice Fields

One of the highlights of the Kayun Shali experience is its setting.

Located at Spirit Hills in Tabanan, the restaurant is surrounded by Bali’s countryside landscape and rice fields, providing a peaceful backdrop for the dinner.

Beginning at 5:00 PM, the event offers guests an opportunity to enjoy the changing atmosphere of the late afternoon and evening while dining in a setting away from the busier parts of Bali.

For visitors exploring Tabanan, the dinner also offers a chance to experience the area through food, landscape and a contemporary dining setting.

Celebrating Independence Through Food

Indonesia’s Independence Day is traditionally a time for communities to come together and celebrate the country’s identity and heritage.

At Kayun Shali, that celebration takes a culinary approach.

Through A Taste of Independence, Indonesian flavours become the centre of an evening that combines food, wine and the natural beauty of Tabanan.

The experience reflects a growing interest in dining experiences that go beyond the meal itself, connecting cuisine with atmosphere and destination.

For travelling BALI Media, experiences like this offer another way to discover Bali — not only through its famous beaches and attractions, but also through its countryside, local flavours and emerging dining destinations.
